How Often Should I Have Treatment?

With EPINIR you generally require 4-8 sessions per areas to achieve up to an 80% reduction.

Does It Hurt?

EPINIR is the 1st of its kind in new technologies for painless hair removal. The crystal head is split into 9 individual beams. This allows for the heat of the EPINIR to be gently dispersed over a large surface area and with the application of multiple passes the EPINIR can effectively destroy the hair follicle and keep the surrounding tissue intact. This new technology reduces the chances of pigment changes, burning and most importantly painful treatments.

What are the side effects of an EPINIR hair removal treatment?

There may be some very slight redness to the areas treated, this will generally settle over a few hours and may feel a little like sunburn. The use of Aloe Vera gel may ease the redness or any gentle moisturising cream will soothe the areas.

What Should I Do Before My Appointment?

Please shave the areas of treatment the day before.
Please avoid sun exposure to the areas 2 weeks before.
Please avoid the use of Retinol A or active creams, if treating the face, for 1 week before.
Please ensure you have read our Terms and Conditions before your arrival of appointment.

What Should I Do After My Appointment?

Please avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks after treatment.
Please avoid the use of Retinol A or active creams, if treating the face, for 1 week after.
Please avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours after treatment. This will avoid any further irritation to the skin.
Please avoid very hot baths, showers, steam baths, and saunas.

How Long Will Treatment Take?

The time for each area varies, small areas such as chin and under arms may only take 15 to 20 minutes. Larger areas such as legs and back may take up to 30 to 40 minutes. Your therapist will advise how long you need at your initial consultation. Small areas may be treated at your initial consultation, larger areas may need to be scheduled at a later date.
